Issues in a SMALL City: What’s the difference?

I live in Cagayan de Oro, a small city here in Mindanao. We may not have all the class and glamor of the bigger cities but we still have some very nice restaurants, parks and tourist attractions. We also have some good hotels even though these aren’t the five star kinds. Technology is not that bad either; we do have businesses here run by internet and some hi-tech programs in the computer.

In fact, just a moment ago when I was surfing the net, I came across some sites on fine dining restaurants such as banquets (and boy!) they do know what class is. These are some of the times when I wish our city was bigger and more progressive that we’d be able to cater elegant parties and dinners. I guess there are just some things a smaller, less progressive city could not offer. I also realized that we don’t have hospitals here with enough technologies and capabilities. Most of our medical institutions here are just designed for simple ailments such as flu, stomach ache and children’s fever. We don’t have what they call as cosmetic dentistry or a very good plastic surgeon such as they have in US such as Jacksonville cosmetic plastic surgeons.

Lol! I think I AM CRAZY for comparing tiny Cagayan de Oro with the United States! But still, some things might sound like they’re a luxury to us like having nice and, but if you really think about it… These things aren’t supposed to be a luxury. I guess these are just some of the things that you can’t have when you don’t have the money.
